Measure T is a local volunteer effort. Community support and a grassroots volunteer program will be critical to our success. A thriving San Mateo is dependent on our supporters giving a few hours of time to this important campaign.

Join Us to Pass Measure T!

How you can help.

As a community-powered campaign, we need people to raise their hands and pitch in to help out here and there. Some areas where we can use your help:

  • Endorse the campaign and talk about Measure T to your friends, neighbors, and when you're online: We need our supporters to be fact-based and share the truth about both the opportunity that Measure T presents and the risks if Measure T does not pass.

  • Sign deliveries: Do you have some time to spare to help out and deliver lawn signs to homes and window signs to businesses? We can really use the support.

  • Tabling and flyering at community events: San Mateo is blessed with a wealth of community events, all that give us the opportunity to share more fact-based information about why Measure T is important for residents. Can you spare a few hours to hand out flyers at an upcoming event, farmers market, or festival?

  • Canvassing: We will by walking and door knocking to talk to residents throughout San Mateo about why they should vote YES on Measure T! Do you have a few hours on a weekend day to help us out with this? Get your steps in!

  • Phone Banking: If you aren't into knocking on doors but love to chat with people on the phone, this one is for you. As we get closer to election day, we will need volunteers to help make phone calls and educate the voter community.

And last but certainly not least: Please donate to the campaign.

Every dollar counts, and funding a campaign to educate the largest city in San Mateo County by population is expensive. Please co-sign with us that you support Measure T by donating $5, $50, $150, $500, or any amount you can give.

We need to hear your stories.

If you are willing to share a quote about your experience with housing affordability in San Mateo, please share your story with us so we can share it with the world.

Part of being community-powered is that we want to uplift your stories and make sure that people who say "There is no housing problem in San Mateo" hear loud and clear:

YES - people in our community are struggling with being able to afford to live in this beautiful corner of San Mateo County that we call home, and we have a sensible plan for how to create housing inventory for middle and low income residents.

Are you a small business owner and want to share why you support Measure T? We want to hear it too. Already stories have come in around challenges with retaining staff, hiring, customer retention due to moving away, and challenges with volume and foot traffic.

In your Endorsement submission, please share your story in the Notes space just before you hit submit and we will reach out to you!
