We are thrilled to announce that the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS, or SAMCAR, has chosen to endorse Measure T on San Mateo's 2024 ballot!
SAMCAR's mission is to support achieving the dream of ownership and the benefits that come with it. One of the great challenges where we live, however, is that there simply aren't enough homes that are affordable enough for working families and people earning the area median income to afford.
We are excited to have support from an integral part of our local community. Realtors are critical to helping people find their first homes and support our community as they move through the various stages of their lives.
SAMCAR knows that by supporting Measure T, the City of San Mateo will be increasing the inventory of homes available to rent and buy at all levels of income so more people will be able to live in this incredible community. And, by helping to support downtown San Mateo's evolution to a place where more people come home to instead of drive through or leave from, our local businesses will have the additional foot traffic that they need in order to grow and thrive.
