One of the best things about volunteering for a campaign cause that you believe in is meeting so many other people in our community who share those same values and are willing to stand with you.

It's a whirlwind working with the team on all of the campaign logistics - who is doing what, where are we going to be, what colors should we pick for our campaign, what's the website address going to be - there are hundreds and hundreds of little details details that go into putting something on the ballot for a community to vote on.

And then, maybe a month later, that's when things really get fun because you finally get to go out and talk to the community and see how excited others are about what you are working on and why it matters.

Measure T matters because it is the final piece of the City of San Mateo's General Plan 2040. Measure T is the product of six years of the community working with city staff on communicating their various needs and wants about the future of our city and will enable us to retain our Housing Element certification.

In conversations with passers-by, we've been asked some really great questions - questions that every voter should be asking. We took those questions and created an FAQ so everyone can benefit. Please take a look! And if you don't see the answer to what you're looking for, please send your question to us!

Join us and volunteer to get the word about about Measure T on the San Mateo 2024 ballot here. This is the largest city in San Mateo County, and we have a lot of work to do.
